Jeff was a faithful member of Bethany Christian Church and a faithful employee at Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital for 25 years. He was known for his contagious laugh, his big bear hugs and his love for life and family could not be matched. He was the favorite Uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Jeff will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Roy Butler; two brothers, Asa White and Bobby White; mother-in-law, Betty Herrin and father-in-law, Jack Herrin.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Butler of 41 years, whom he adored; his only son, Jacob Butler (Katelyn), who was Jeff’s pride and joy. The news of a grandson, who is expected to make his appearance in July, brought even more joy. He was thrilled to be known as Paw Paw.
Jeff is also survived by his sisters, Jane Craven, Eileen Stone (Gary), and Christy Pace (Rick), who he loved dearly; and a host of extended family members and friends.
A visitation of family and friends will be held for Jeffrey on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A celebration of his life will occur immediately after visitation in Ward's Chapel.
