James Albert Smith, Sr. passed away on Feb. 7 2017. He was predeceased by his wife Sarah. Survivors are his five children Linda D. Akins, James W. & wife Nancy Smith, Richard C. and wife Kathy Smith, James A. Jr. and wife Lorry Smith and Julian A. and wife Kim Smith. Eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday Feb. 11, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Fairview Chapel of Horis A. Ward. Pastor Joe Hughes will officiate. Interment in the Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-9 on Friday Feb. 10th 2017 at the funeral home.
