James L. Aikens Sr., age 91 of Atlanta, GA passed away on Saturday January 13th 2018 services will be held on Saturday January 20th @ Christian Fellowship Baptist Church 1500 Norman Drive College Park, GA @ 11am with Rev. Dr. Keith L. Reynolds officiating.
A native of Newton County, Covington GA, Mr. Aikens Sr. retired in 1983 from the US Postal Service as a letter carrier of Fulton County. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Barbara Aikens of Chattanooga, TN, 3 three children Angela Norris (Sam), James L. Aikens Jr. (Karen) Joy Arrington (Jonathan) 9 grand children.
He is preceded in death by both parent and three sisters.
Friends and family are welcome to visit the family at the home of Barbara Aikens days prior to the funeral at 3191 West Manor Circle S.W. Atlanta, GA and at the church during the repass immediately following the service.
