Harriette Lavonne Stephens

Harriette was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Charles John Stephens, Sr.; as well as her parents, Frederick Harshbarger Collier and Irene Hazel Thompson Collier. She is survived by five children, Albert, Ovidio, Roxana, Charles Jr., and Kimberly. She was a proud grandmother of six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

While Harriette's family grieves her loss, they cannot forget her spirit. Family came first after God and her loving heart is to always be remembered. The way she loved her family was contagious. She touched so many with her welcoming smile, witty sense of humor and joy-filled soul. Harriette was always available to help others, whether listening or offering guidance without any judgement. This world has lost an irreplaceable woman, but her memories will last for eternity.

A visitation of family and friends will be held for Harriette on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. Following the visitation will be a graveside celebration of her life and committal service at 12:00 PM at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. Chaplain Tom Lee, officiating.
