Harold Parker

Harold Ray Parker age 80 of McDonough, Georgia passed away Feb. 6, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Eva, two sons Daniel & wife Madi Parker and David & wife Donna Parker. Two Brothers Allen and Gordon Parker. Two sisters Marie Smith and Joy Powell. Grandson Hunter Parker. Two granddaughters Hannah and Jessica Parker. Stepgrandaughter Savannah Birchfield. He was preceded in death by his son Mark Alan Parker and five other children known only to God. Parents James & May Belle Parker. Siblings James Arthur Jr., Inez and Eloise Hubbard. Funeral services for Harold will be Thursday Feb. 9, 2017 at 2 pm in the Fairview Chapel of Horis A. Ward. Pastors Reece Sanders and Richard Culpepper will officiate. Interment in the Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday Feb. 8, 2017 from 6-9 p.m. Harold was born on Gilbert Street in Atlanta Jan. 24, 1937 to James Arthur Parker And May Belle Walraven Parker. He was a veteran of the US Navy and worked for Clayton County. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Covington Georgia. Harold was a great family man, kind, loving & gentle and will be greatly missed.
