Georgia Savage

Georgia Lyn “Jo” Savage, age 73, of Stockbridge Ga passed away on August 4, 2017. Georgia was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is survived by her husband of 43 years Alma Lynn Savage, her children Rodney K Gunn (Melissa) of Stockbridge, Ga, Jolyn Savage of Stockbridge, Ga, Norma Mahi (Nephi) of St. George, Ut. Her father George I. Gunn of Astoria, Oregon. Her Grandchildren Ryan Gunn, Courtney Gunn and Justin Gunn of Stockbridge, GA. Nicole Mahi, Nathaniel Mahi and Nolan Mahi of St. George, Ut. Siblings John T. Davis (Linda) of St. George, Ut, Nile Richard Sawyer (Evette) of West Jordan, Ut. Charles Gunn (Ursula) of Astoria, Oregon, and Mary Francis Gunn of Astoria, Oregon. She is also survived by Donal Savage (LuWanna) brother-in-law and Kathleen Campbell (Kenny) sister-in-law. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jo enjoyed spending time outdoors with family and friends. She enjoyed hunting, camping and traveling with family. She enjoyed her pets. Jo enjoyed playing board games and putting puzzles together with family. She enjoyed life.

There will be a visitation at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281 from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday August 8, 2017. Funeral services will be held at the Stockbridge Ward building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3355 Highway 155 North, Stockbridge, Ga 30281 starting at 11am on Wednesday August 9, 2017, with Graveside Service to follow.
