Frances Lucille Benton, age 86 of Augusta formally of Stockbridge, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2012.
Mrs. Frances is preceded by her husband Ralph W. Benton, Sr., daughter; Katrina B. Wilbanks, two sisters; Sybil Louise Perkins and Opal LaFaye Shoemaker, and son-in-law, W.B. (Lucky) Scoggins. She is survived by her daughter; Brenda B. Scoggins, sons; Marlin C. and his wife, Darlene Benton, Ralph W., Jr. and his wife, Patsy Benton. son-in-law; Robert Wilbanks, 10 grandchildren, 23 great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at 3:00 P.M at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel with Rev. Dave Dillard officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
