Elizabeth Willingham

Elizabeth Cothran Willingham, age 83, of Ellenwood, passed away May 10, 2016, peacefully at home with her family. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 17, at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel at 2:00pm, with Matt Grimes and Justin McIntyre officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens adjacent to the funeral home.

A native of Fulton County, Georgia, Mrs. Willingham retired from Georgia Reginal Hospital and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She is survived by: son, Joseph Parker (Teresa) of Sharpsburg, daughter, Maurica Massey of McDonough, daughter, Jeana Rutledge (Jason) of Hampton, sister, Claudia Cooper of Ellenwood, nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, one niece and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Willingham and her parents, Claude and Ruby Cothran.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 16, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
