Mrs. Elizabeth A. (Betty) Cochran, age 96 of McDonough, GA passed away on January 18, 2024. She grew up in West End Atlanta and graduated from Girls High in 1945. She was always active in church through music, teaching and serving, and her legacy will be Faith, Family, and Friends. Elizabeth was an avid stitcher and quilter. In retirement, she enjoyed many road trips with her husband Bo, visiting almost every state.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Mr. James M. (Bo) Cochran in 2006. Surviving are sons Jimmy and David Cochran of McDonough, daughter Janet Collins (George Collins) of Dunwoody, two grandchildren Walton and Sarah Collins, and nephews Joe (Sharon) Anderson of Clayton, GA and Charles (Kelly) Anderson.
A graveside service will be held on January 23, 2024 at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge, GA at 11:00.Rev. Donald Lockhart Senior Pastor of First Christ Cares Church and Rev. Michelle Strall, Senior Pastor of Wesley Way United Methodist Church will officiate. In case of inclement weather, the service will be in the Horis Ward Chapel at Fairview.
