Dot was born in East Atlanta Georgia on April 1, 1932 to LV Cross, Sr. and Ossie Hamby Cross.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, and her husband, H.C. (Pete) Roebuck. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Steve) Hagemann; two grandchildren, Corey (Cheryl) Hagemann and Kelly (Dan) Shives; four great grandsons, Brandon (Katie) Shives, Hayden Shives, Cooper Hagemann and Jacob Hagemann; two great-great grandchildren, Holton and Easton Shives; sister-in-law, Bobby Jean Cross; two nieces Penny (Gary) Lewis and Anne Beal; many loved ones and extended family.
Family will receive friends on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A celebration of her life will occur immediately after visitation in Ward's Chapel. Services will conclude with a graveside committal at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. Pastor Ken Davidson, officiating.
