Connie E. Walden

Connie E. Walden, age 54, passed away on December 30, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Newt Walden of Stockbridge, GA; mother, Pauline Peterson of Stockbridge, GA; sisters, Barbara Stockton of Monroe, GA; Tony and Beckie Staton of Monroe, GA; brother, James and Tracy Evans of Stockbridge, GA. Connie graduated from Heritage High School and worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad. She was a devoted member of Central Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at the Ole Country Church in McDonough, GA on Saturday, January 2 at 11 a.m. with Alec Ward officiating. Those wishing to do so may donate to the Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in lieu of flowers. Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel, Stockbridge, is in charge of arrangements 770-474-1231.
