Jack, my thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.  I think of you and Chris often and can just see her sitting by the campfire with poker in hand; she really did love that. And the many times Don and I sat with you two at the Christmas luncheons and caught up on "happenings".  She and I had some great gabs in your coach, both of us trying to talk at once.  I'll miss your sweet wife.

We are very distraught over your loss, Jack and Family.  Chris was a very sweet lady and friend.  She will be missed very much, but we will "poke the campfire" in memory of her and in her honor at every campfire we have in the future.  She will be remembered with good thoughts and many prayers.

My first memories of Aunt Chris go back to my childhood when she and Jack came to Winterville to visit. They would have a slide show( way before digital) of where they had gone to visit. As an adult  my memories of Aunt Chris are of a women who was strong in her FAITH,FAMILY AND FRIENDS.  She will be greatly missed!

Chris was a very loving person and a very special person to all the Georgia Mountaineers.  She will forever be remember as the campfire Poker Queen and made sitting around the campfire a special experience.  We were very fortunate to spend four months with her and Jack on a trip to Alaska in 2014, a trip we will always cherish.
