Charles B. ( Charlie ) Dickinson 88 of Stockbridge passed away August 5, 2013. Charles was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth in 2007. He was a former member of Belvedere UMC and was retired from the Dekalb County Tax Assessors office. Survivors ar his two sons Danny Dickinson & wife Ann of McDonough and Tim Dickinson & wife Terri Stockbridge. One granddaughter Katie Hicks, two grandsons Wesley Campbell wife & Lauren and Patrick Dickinson. Great granddaughter Rylee Hicks. Great grandson Aden Campbell. Several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Those desireing in lieu of flowers may send contributions to the Union UMC Church 4600 Hwy 138 SW Stockbridge Ga. 30281 770-4834338. A reception will be held at the church following the service. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at Union UMC Church on Thursday August 8, 2013 with Rev Rick Marson officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
