Carolyn Mae Wiggins

Carolyn Mae Wiggins, 85, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 31st, at Horis A.Ward funeral home– Fairview Chapel, with Pastor Dustin Tumbleston officiating. The family will greet friends from 11-1PM. A graveside service will be held immediately following the celebration of life at Fairview Memorial Gardens.

Carolyn was born on December 12, 1938 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a devoted and proud mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Helen Chesser; brother Butch Chesser; and granddaughter, Haelyn Hooks.

She is survived by her sons Fred (Janet) Henry, Tony (Sandra) Henry, and Darrell (Teresa) Hooks;

daughter Tracey Hooks; brother Larry (Yvonne) Chesser; sisters Joanne Swafford, Shirley Jordan, and Linda (Bill) Ferguson; sister in law Frances Chesser.

Grandchildren Ashley Frey, Tara (James) Womac, Tyler (Cheryl) Hooks, Taft (Kara) Hooks, Christina Henry, Chase Henry, Brandon Blakeman, and Meghan (Brandon) Waddleton; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. Also many nieces and nephews.
