Carolyn Anne Head, age 67 of Ellenwood, GA, beloved wife for over 51 years to Michael E. Head, Sr. passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018. Loving mother of Kim Monti (Howard), Jamie Till (Josh). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jaclyn, Nicholas, Autumn, Kayla, Austin, Joshua, Jake, Joah, Dude, great-grandchildren, Layla, Braelyn, Michael, brother David Camp and a host of loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Shedd, and son, Michael Head, Jr. and granddaughter, Baby Taylor Patterson.
Carolyn Anne Head was many things, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend doesn’t begin to cover all that she was. She devoted her entire life to those she loved¬- whether it was a bus full of children, friends that became family, or those lucky enough to have just met her once. She was a servant to God with unwavering faith, and truly loved with all she had. She would laugh in the face of cancer and smile through the pain. Even in her final moments she was vigilant and selfless. Not once was she concerned about herself, but for us and what losing her would do to her family. She was the one person you could tell anything to and she would never judge or love you any less, Carolyn had mastered the art of loving the unlovable. When everything seemed to be falling apart, her strength acted like glue keeping everything in its place. She was truly one of a kind, and will live in the hearts of thousands long after she is put to rest. This is not a goodbye, but rather a see you later. For she has not died, she has simply gone home. Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and in the spirit of family and friends- which to her mattered most.
“Strength and Honour are her clothing, and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up and call her blessed; her husband also praiseth her.” Proverbs 31: 25-28
