Carolyn Ruth Head

Carolyn Head age 58 of McDonough passed away on April 21, 2013.After a courage’s battle with cancer She is survived by her husband Bill Wiggins, sons; Michael ( Amanda) Thompson, Duane (Tiffany) Thompson, grandchildren; Tristin, Elijah, Noah, Chloe, and Logan Thompson, brothers; Lamar Echols, Bill Head, Robert Head, sisters; Joann Bryant, Connie Baker, Darlene Hamilton, and Dorothy Deaver. She is predeceased by her parents; Joseph and Maude Head, brother Charles Karas. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She will be missed by many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, and Tuesday April 23 from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, April 24 at 1:00 P.M. at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel with Pastor Steve Petit officiating, interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
