Carlos’ story begins on May 27, 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia. He was born to Ms. Connie Wooten and the late Mr. Willie Callaway. Growing up in the vibrant community southeast of Atlanta on Jonesboro Road, Carlos attended Tull Waters Elementary School, Price Middle School, and South Atlanta High School. Carlos pursued his passion for construction by attending trade school in 2005, where he graduated with a focus on construction.
Following his graduation, Carlos embarked on a career in building construction. His expertise revolved around various aspects of site preparation, including cleaning and removing debris and hazards from construction sites. He also excelled in loading and unloading, efficiently transporting building materials and equipment. Operating heavy machinery like bulldozers, cranes, and excavators, as well as using drills and hammers, became second nature to Carlos. Additionally, he displayed his versatility by assisting skilled tradespeople such as carpenters and electricians.
In his spare time, Carlos’ love for cars became a hobby. He enjoyed working on them, honing his skills and knowledge. Throughout his life, Carlos was known for his exceptional work ethic and his ability to get the job done, always leaving his customers satisfied. His dedication and determination made him a true entrepreneur.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Carlos was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and friend. He cherished spending time with his family and friends, finding joy in their company and creating lasting memories. Family gatherings were particularly special to him, where he often took charge of the grill and delighted everyone with his barbecuing skills.
Carlos leaves behind a beautiful legacy. He is survived by his mother, Connie Wooten and ten children: Andrew, Carlidia, Laquita, Jahzarria, Demarius, Harleigh, Cree, Aviyonna and his twins. Additionally, he adored his grandson, Zahir Davis Jr. Carlos is also remembered by his three sisters: Sabrina, Nicole, Tynia, and Sharenetta, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. The impact Carlos had on the lives of those who knew him will forever be cherished and remembered with love.
Visitation for Carlos will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in The Heritage Suite at Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A Celebration of Life for Carlos Reshard Wooten will occur on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 10:30 AM in The Fairview Suite. Interment will immediately follow in Resthaven Garden of Memory.
