Betty Jo Jackson

Betty Jo Jackson, 63, of Stockbridge GA passed away at 6:45 a.m. Monday Nov. 16, 2015, at Vitas Hospice of Stockbridge GA. She was born January 8 1952 in Stevenson AL to the late Herbert and Bessie Hill. She was their only child. Surviving is her husband of 39 plus years Ronald Jackson, her daughter Kristina Lea Kolpak and husband Robert, step daughter Rhonda Story and husband Dana and step son Ryan Jackson and wife Elisa, niece Kellie House and husband Frank. She had 4 grandsons, Brandon, Waylon, Finn and TJ; and two granddaughters, Brittney, Tiffany; and 3 great grandchildren, Connor, Tanner and Ansleigh. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and being a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. Betty Jo had a love for movies and television shows especially NCIS and The Walking Dead. She enjoyed taking pictures and making videos of family events. She loved her fur babies- dogs, cats and horses; she had a love of the canine and feline community and offered her home to many that needed shelter. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel in Stockbridge GA, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m., with Chaplain Jerry Weaver officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Memorial Gardens cemetery in Stockbridge GA.
