Bernice was born February 8, 1920 in Frankfort, Kentucky to the late George and Florence Pennington. She went on to marry Rev. Curtis Raymond Hall and enjoyed many years of serving as First Lady at Stockbridge Free Holiness Church. Bernice worked primarily as a house keeper and also laundered clothing within the hospitality industry. While she was a great seamstress as well, Bernice was most importantly known as one of the best prayer warriors around. She loved her family, lived an abundant life, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Mr. George and Mrs. Florence Pennington, her husband, Rev. Curtis R. Hall and several siblings, Bernice was preceded in death by two children, Willie Mae Hall and Anita Jarvis. She leaves to cherish her memory four children, Jewel Case, George Hall, Linda Bragg, and Raymond Roger Hall; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Grady Pennington; and a host of other relatives and friends.
