Annie Morris

Annie Lorene Morris, June 10, 1920 - May 11, 2014 was born in Dawson County Georgia. She was widowed to Linton G. Morris. Mrs Morris was primarily a homemaker, but also worked for Sears, Roebuck & Co., General Electric Credit Corporation, and the Atlanta Army Depot. She loved her family, and she also loved music, flowers, and animals. She was active in the Sunday School and music programs at church, singing in a trio, the Rainbeaux, performing locally. She loved and cared for the numerous animals which came to her, and filled her flower beds with spring flowers ever year. Survivors: Byron (Martha) Morris, Cataula, Ga, Burma (J.N.) Campbell Stockbridge, Ga, Ken (Diane) Morris, Rutledge,. Ga and Judy (Tom) , Milton Ga. Sisters In Law, Geraldine Kirby and Ruth Kirby, brother in law, Randall Morris, Numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 13, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in the Fairview Chapel of Horis A. Ward. Pastors Ken Huff and Virgil Smith will officiate. Interment in the Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
