Annie Lee Wheeler Hall, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 2, 2022 at her residence in McDonough, Georgia. Annie was born on June 16,1933 to John D. and Laura S. Wheeler. Annie graduated from Swainsboro High School. Annie married Homer F. Hall on December 12, 1952 and together they raised their five children. She worked as an accountant for Thrift Drugs. After retiring, Annie went to work for Henry County Board of Education as a cafeteria lady, where she impacted many children and met many friends she cherished.
Homer and Annie were active members of Berean Baptist Church in Ellenwood, Georgia for more than 40 years.
In Annie's free time, you would find her working in her yard or garden until dark. She also loved sitting on her screened porch sipping sweet tea with her family and friends. Annie loved bluegrass and gospel music, crocheting, puzzles and playing cards. She was known to many as Granny and always welcomed everyone into her home and before they left she would give them a jar of her canned green beans.
Mrs. Annie Hall was preceded in death by her loving husband, Homer F. Hall and three children, Kenneth A. Hall, Mikell G. Hall and Patricia (Sissy) Hall.
Mrs. Annie Hall is survived by two sons, Harrell F. Hall and his wife, Ronnie of Norcross, Georgia and John R. Hall and his wife Kimberly of Sharpsburg,Georgia; grandchildren, Cynthia Fuller, Christopher Hall, Connie Eaddy, Marie White, Jennifer Bartlett, Jessica Abercrombie, Mikell Burrous, Damion Vorhies, Zachary Dunson and Alex Dunson and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family will welcome visiting family and friends on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM in The Heritage Suite at The Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Annie Hall will occur on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 1:00 PM in The Fairview Suite at The Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281 with burial immediately following in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
