Toms 1st anniversary of his death was 9-1-2016. And it has come and pass and I would like to thank every for keeping his memory alive .God bless you all. It was a hard year for my family and myself.But Kellies family took me to the cemetery to clean his grave and put fall decorations on it.Then Linda and I went on Sept. 1, to finish the job .It was emotional but some how we did it. But I am finding going on the 2 send year is even harder the all the first events he wasn't by my side.I miss him twice as much now and no one warned me that it would get worse till I got a letter from Journey care stating that fact.So it is with a saddened heart I say good bye to Tom till we meet again.I love you so much and miss you❤

Rosie found a penny from papa today at the doctors office. She smiled to find her first penny from heaven!

Our family all around Tom(Papa) in the hospices center. We where all fighting with him. But now he is at Peace with God❤❤

I miss you Papa! You and I spoke the same language and Even though I didn't get to spend as much time with you as I would have liked to my mommy and daddy keep telling me all about my brave papa that lives in heaven and watches over me always! The kids and I have been seeing monarchs all over the place in the last few weeks since you have entered heaven. We call them butterfly kisses from papa! We know you are watching over us and sending us love everyday!! We miss you so very much!! Can't wait to get some more butterfly kisses from you next spring!! In the mean time the kids and I have been enjoying listening to the books you recorded for them! They are a priceless treasure that makes us smile and keep you close to us!! Dear Papa I love with all my heart and I will always love you I loved when I was little and you taught me how to catch squirrels, bunnies, and birds with a box a fishing pole and a stick I'll never forget that!! Even though I didn't get to do much with you when you started getting worse with your parking sons I didn't love you any less than I did and do now!! Hey Papa,

   It has been a while since we have played chess, but I have a lot of good memories of us playing together. I don't remember who won or lost, but all I cared about was us playing together. The outcome didn't matter. Even though most of the time you probably let me win a game or two.

   Also, I know that you loved butterflies and nature in general, so now every time I see a butterfly, especially a monarch I remember you. I love you Papa.

   In school I am also singing a song that has the Marine Song in it every time I sing it I think of you.

Yesterday at the grocery store both the boys found pennies.  I told them that means Uncle Tom is looking out for you guys!

As I was going into some of my tests two weeks ago I found pennies by the door.  I got A's on the tests thanks to Uncle Tom.

My favorite memory of Tom was when he cut my hair with Grandpa's big scissors.  It was the best hair cut I ever had!!

I love you PApa so much❤❤I found my second penny today. The first was when I went to the dentist and every thing turned out ok. Thank you for letting me know you are ok and I would be ok too. I miss you so much

I love you papa you were a strong person aspeshly ,when you fought in veatnom because you had to fight other people, you  are one of strongest people I know.

I am blessed to have some of the creative CDS that Tom had put together for my mother and myself. I listen to them often, if it's in the car or using them as entertainment music. My mom spent alot of Saturdays rocking  in her chair in the living room and enjoying the tunes from her era. I would be dusting or sweeping and singing along. What awesome memories those CDs represent. All the time and effort Tom put into them and the quality and fun time my mom and I shared over them. I still listen to them now and think of both of them. What could they be talking about now? As the great Bob Hope put it..thanks for the memories

I also found a penny when I was going into the doctor office.

I would like everyone to try and write or send pictures to this site before October 14 2015   So we all can celebrate Toms life . He was a wonderful,loving and brave man to so many. Please do this soon so we can have everyone's memories of Toms life with them. Thank you   Even if it is you remembering him after passing because of the pennies you find or the butterflies you come near during the rest of summer. I will never forget him and hope lots of you feel the same❤❤

Thank you everyone for all your support during this difficult time❤ Tom was well loved and is missed terribly by my family and all. It's not easy trying to get through the days without Tom by my side. Plus all the legal paper work you have to do is driving me crazy. But I guess that keeps be busy. As well as of the sports the grand kids have going on. So I am kept busy. Thank you everyone.  And most of all thank you Tom for the wonderful life you have given me and the family also all the love you have showered on us. I will miss you for ever❤❤❤Love always Kathy. I miss you so very much! Each day that passes without you in it makes me miss you even more! I hold so many memories in my heart and think of you daily! You touched the lives of so many more people than you ever realized! So many people love and honor you and your legacy will never be forgotten! I wish so badly I could have one of our many chats and hold you hand and kiss you head! You have been an amazing dad and papa!! We were so very blessed to have you for the time you were on earth! I can't wait to celebrate with you on day in heaven and chase butterflies together!! Until then don't worry we are holding mom close and keeping her busy! She misses you and wishes you were here to enjoy the grandkids with her but she knows you are celebrating in heaven with Jesus and all who have passed before you. I know you are making a wonderful home for us in heaven so that when we arrive we can celebrate together in eternity in grand and glorious way! I love you dad!! Kathy, Paul, Kellie & Family God bless you during your time of sorrow.  Tom is looking down from heaven and saying that is my family, I'm so proud. The service was beautiful with Marines presenting you the flag, 21 rifle team and Kellie butterflies release.  My prayer are with you during this time.
