It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley J. Donald at the age of 74. She passed away on Saturday, October 28th, 2023 in Redington Shores, Florida. Shirley was born on September 12, 1949, in Rutherford, Tennessee to her beloved parents, Leonard and Evie Mae Allen, who preceded her in death.
Shirley was a loving wife to her husband Bill and was a devoted mother to Tammy and Mark. She will be deeply missed by many, including her 5 step-children, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nephews.
A visitation for friends and family will be held on Wednesday, November 8th, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Mount Auburn Funeral Home located at 4101 South Oak Park Avenue, Stickney, Illinois 60402. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, November 9th, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 4300 South Oak Park Avenue, Stickney, Illinois 60402 followed by a graveside service at Mount Auburn Cemetery.
