Sandra Lee Iwanski

Sandra Lee Iwanski, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Sandra was born on March 11, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to her parents Mamie and Benjamin Hofrichter. Loving wife of the late Chester. Beloved mother of Sharon (Randy) Peter, Stephen Iwanski, Sue Ann (Shawn) Fisher and Diane (Michael) Wisneski.

Cherished grandmother of Lauren Fisher, Nicolas Castagnino, Kaitlyn (John) Bifone, Vanessa Castagnino, Michael (Jae) Nardella, Stephanie Fisher and Samantha Nardella. Dear sister of Rhonda (Bud) Andrisko.

Sandy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family. She cherished her grandchildren. She always had a smile on her face, and she loved gardening and her flowers. She loved sewing, quilting, crocheting and going to craft fairs.

Family and friends will gather for a visitation for Sandra that will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Avenue, Stickney, IL 60402. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 with family and friends gathering at Mount Auburn Funeral Home at 10:00 am. We will begin chapel prayers at 11:00 am, followed by burial at Mount Auburn Memorial Park.
