Miguel was born one of 7 children to his parents Cristobal and Faralina Silverio in Placeta, La Villa, Cuba.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, his sister and 5 brothers.
Miguel is survived by his loving wife Eva B. Silverio and will be remembered by his children Miguel Silvero and Xiomara (Paul) Roebuck. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Amanda Roebuck and Paula (Andrew) Meyers. He was a proud great-grandfather to Drew and Teresa Meyers. Miguel will be remembered by many, many other members of his family and countless friends he has made over the years.
Miguel was a man of many values. He loved his family more than anything and worked hard all of his life for their benefit. It was this love that drove him to move his family from Cuba to the US. It was in 1971 that he made it through a program run by President Kennedy and Catholic Charities. It meant so much to him that he believed in embracing his new country and became a full citizen in the 1990's.
Miguel was also kind and would help anyone who would ask. He was loving and a man of faith. Those who remember him will never forget his kind heart and good soul.
A funeral service in his honor will take place on July 23rd, 2021 at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 S. Oak Park Ave. Stickney, IL 60402. Visitation will begin at 10am. Burial will take place at Mount Auburn Cemetery following services.
