Michelle, although we've dwindled in numbers, your Chicago family will always love you and miss you. You will always be our little cousin. One of my happiest memory's is of the all the time we spent together growing up while grandma watched us all week while our moms worked. We would spend hours playing. You had a great imagination. We would take our change or the money that our mom's left us and walk up to the candy store or go down to the toy store and spend hours in the basement pouring over the Barbie section. I got to go to Oklahoma with you and spend time with your Oklahoma family who always made me feel welcome. I have very fond memories of your Pokni, meeting all of your cousins, trying not to get all of their names mixed up. You'd try to teach me some words in Choctaw, I do remember a few that I shouldn't repeat here. As we got older I spent a lot of time with you and Aunt Pearl going to concerts, your mom always treating me to dinner, spending the night together when I was old enough to "babysit" when our moms went out on the weekends. There are really too many memories to list. I'm heartbroken you had to leave this world. I love you Michele my belle.

Juanita, so very sorry to learn of your daughter passing.  My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

I am so sorry to hear of Michelle's passing.  I worked with her at the ADA, and we were fast friends.  Lots of love to her family.

I met Michelle when she was working at Bud's Place. She was one of my favorite people there - always had a smile, always made you feel welcome and special. Although we drifted apart after Bud's closed, we did stay in touch through Facebook. She was a bright light that will be missed.

When you take the time to talk to a kid like they’re important, they never forget you. I will always remember all the time Michele took out of her busy young life to spend with this little girl, the love and kindness she showed me, the example she set. I wish I had said a proper grown up thank you while you were still here, cousin. Rest in Power.

 In Michele’s honor,  we hope more people will recognize the importance of wearing a mask to protect our selves, our loved ones and our neighbors while this dangerous disease that took her from us rages on without acknowledgement.

I worked with Michele for many years at Prairie.  She always had a smile on her face and was ready with a joke. I have so many fond memories of joking and laughing at recess duty, and her hilarious banter with the staff.  She will be so missed.

Thank you for opening up and letting me into your life, it was a wonderful place to be. Thank you for doing the Cancer Walk in my honor and always worrying about me (and Bear!) And thank you for never getting mad when we would razz you about the Cubs. There will never be anyone quite like you. Extra extra ranch!! Rest peacefully my dear friend. I miss you. Love ya!
