Mary Ann Vasil

Mary Ann was born September 8, 1937 in Berwyn, IL to her parents Joseph and Blanche (nee Stephenson) Welsch.

A graduate of Taft High School, Mary Ann attended Wright Junior College and studied elementary education at DePaul University, where she graduated in 1962.

After meeting on a blind date, she married David Vasil on June 27, 1964. She and David were married for 55 years, spending 53 of those in their home in Berwyn, where Mary Ann kept a home and was involved in St. Leonard's Parish for many years.

Mary Ann is predeceased by her parents and her brother Joseph. She is survived by loving husband David Vasil; her beloved children Eileen (Michael) Paliakas and Timothy (Deborah) Vasil, as well as cherished grandchildren Cara and Leah Paliakas and Chloe and Declan Vasil. She is also survived by her brother Harold (Marjorie) Welsch.
