This was very sad to hear that my sweet cousin passed away. I know I haven't been around and present since moving away but I still love and miss everyone the same. The memories of us all playing,fighting,getting into trouble, sneeking cookies and candy from our apartment upstairs in Cicero will forever hold a place in my heart. Love ya Pep fly high and say hi to abuela for me. 

Peppers - you were  a whole welcoming committee by yourself.  You needed only one introduction and people remembered you always. You had a way.  Charming and always smiling. You were a light, my friend.  You brought that light to Nikki's life and I'm so glad the two of got to spend the time together that you did.  I only wish you had more. You were quick-witted and clever.  Never a dull moment, always good for a laugh. You were the life of whatever was the moment.  In fact, I think our work hasn't had a picnic again since you last grilled. Please be a guide for whomever decides to step in and take your place at the next one. Lol 

Peppers, my friend, you were loved and will be missed.  

Hey Pep, I’m so glad I got to see you at Ant’s engagement party, because before that it’s been forever. I’ll never forget when you use to come over on Sunday’s to my grandmas house and we would all hang out. But the thing I’ll remember the most was our Bulls Rally shenanigans. Those were the best times! I can’t believe I am even writing this, it just isn’t fair. Rest well. See you again one day! ❤️

I’ll always remember Gabe asking for some limes or a knife at work to cut his avocado lol. He would recommend the best Mexican food spots or a new tequila to be mixed with only Squirt of course. You could always count on him to crack a joke, tell a story, anything to lighten the mood. When I moved from Illinois he still kept in touch and gave words of encouragement, inspiration or just to simply say he was proud. His presence will definitely be missed and it was an honor and pleasure of knowing this beautiful soul. So glad we got to hang out at our last outing and was not expecting it to be our last. Rest in heaven friend I’ll always take a shot of Tequila in remembrance of you!

Pep-Hi  Friend!!  Actually you were more like an older brother to me. I will miss our conversations in Spanglish about random things. You were always interested in learning new things and would pick my brain about medical topics. I will never forget the one day you walked into Cynthia’s yard for a family party with a boot on your foot and carrying a wound vac and i yelled at you. Your response was “stupid nurses, they think they know everything”. Lol You were hilarious! I appreciate you being there for me during difficult times. You always had me laughing. Benny and Bella are going to miss you as their doggy sitter. I will always think of you when I get my sope y horchata from Chapparos. You left this world too soon friend! You will be missed. RIP Pep! 

What a truly amazing beautiful soul. I am going to miss walking into work and seeing you greet me with the warmest smile!! Gabe knew how much I loved orange juice and surprised me once in a blue moon with some. I wish I would’ve stopped by for one extra minute the last time I seen you. I didn’t get to tell you how much of a great friend you were to me. Heaven is so lucky to have you. 

I remember back in the day living in Cicero, where I had to always lock my bedroom door, Pep would always have Danny jump over a window from my parents room that led to my bedroom because pep was to chunky to fit through that opening lol..and of course I would always find out that they were in there playing with my Nintendo, or just chilling in my room.  Never a dull moment with my brother.

I can’t believe you are gone! I’ll miss you in the group chat with Rene and Al talking trash and getting under each other’s skin haha. The BBQ’s where you would bring a salad from some random restaurant and end up not eating the salad cuz the bbq food was too good. One of our last conversations was about the sneakers app and how we never won anything off of it and how the dunks made a major comeback. A lot of memories we shared. Well rest easy my dude. I hope they have styrofoam cups up there for you. Cuz remember they don’t sweat like the plastic ones haha.

I was looking forward to our poker night, I was looking forward to hanging out again, man I was just happy to hang out again. You didn't even get a chance to meet my son. I will always remember pep as one of the most funniest and caring people I have ever met. I will never forget when he used to live with me in middle school he bought me a hamster for my birthday. Then the hamster escaped in his car and ended up chewing his wires in the car lol. He went through so much to find that hamster. I ended up receiving the hamster the following night and yes he was alive. I will forever laugh and  cherish those sweet moments of him.

Pep you will be missed by ALL of us! Our group will never be the same. Thanks for always be the calm friend in our group because you know how CRAZY we can be lol. Thank you for stopping me from getting into fights with my neighbors’ ha ha ha!!! I will never forget that day! We are disbelief but I know God has better plans for you. Now that you are an angel in the sky, hug my son for me ❤️

Uncle pep, no one ever made me laugh like you did. Since I was born, you always more like a brother to me even though you were my uncle. I have so many memories of us since we were kids and growing up, and every single one was a great memory. My future kids will know you through my memories and stories about how great of a person you were and how you made every time spent together so enjoyable. You will live on forever and will never be forgotten. I’m going to miss you but we’ll meet again someday on the basketball court like always, I’ll bring the Jordan’s and ball and you bring the jokes like always.

Uncle Pep, 
No one made me laugh like you did. You were always a protector of Toni and I since we were born. We had so so many great times together since were kids and even though you were my uncle, you felt more like a brother while growing up. I’m beyond fortunate to have seen you recently and share more laughs and stories like we always would. You will never be forgotten and will always be on my mind and in my heart. My future kids will have the memories and stories that I will share with them and you will live on forever. Love you Pep, till we meet again on the basketball court like old times.

In June 2009 when Pep and I ordered hot dogs the same way with ketchup and relish only, I knew he’d be the love of my life!  His beautiful eyes and smile might have had something to do with it too but I’m going to say it was the dogs for sure!  Throughout the years, my family, son and friends grew to love him too.  He was my heart, my home.

To my love - It hasn’t always been perfect but we both knew the love we had for each other was always there.  I’m going to miss you like crazy and this is going to be hard yo!  You, however, did play a big role in Jacobs life and he definitely has your personality so that will forever warm my heart 🥰.   You’ll be forever in our minds and hearts.  Rest in peace now.
