Denise Storcz

DENISE J. STORCZ, was the beloved daughter of the late Lillian and Stanley Storcz, beloved sister of Richard, and dearest friend to many. Denise was a dedicated Pre-school and Kindergarten Teacher for the Archdiocese of Chicago. Her passion was teaching and she dearly loved all her students immensely and they, in turn, loved her. She taught at St. Michael School located at 24th Place & Oakley from 1978 to its closing in 2002. She also taught at Pope John Paul II School located 4325 S. Richmond St., Chicago, IL 60632 from 2002 to June 2017. She continued to help and care for people by working at the Chicago Park District as an Activities Coordinator from her teenage years through the summer of 2016.

Denise lost her courageous and valiant battle with cancer on August 6th, 2018. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 10th, 2018, between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church located at 1650 West 17th Street, Chicago, IL 60608. After the Mass, Interment will be at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum in Niles, IL.
