Carol Stahnke, age 87, of Berwyn, Illinois passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024. Carol was born on June 7, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois. Loving wife of Henry for 67 years. Beloved mother of Henry (Dina) Stahnke and Paul Thomas (Mari) and the late Elizabeth (Todd) Schrieber. Cherished grandmother of Thomas (Krystal), Colleen Fischer (Neal), Matthew Stahnke, and great-grandmother of Aria and Ivy Stahnke.
Family and friends will gather for a visitation for Carole on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Avenue, Stickney, IL 60402. A funeral service will take place on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 9:00 am until time of chapel service at 11:00 am at Mount Auburn Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Mount Auburn Memorial Park, Stickney, IL.
