She was born on February 9, 1918, in Carroll County, daughter of the late Wade Hampton and Ida Belle Goad Harris.
Mrs. Schuler was a member of Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren and worked at Wright's Dairy Rite for nearly 30 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl D. Schuler; one daughter, Sandra Johnson; seven sisters, Cora Whiteside, Annie Harris, Mary Dichiser, Emma Harrington, Mattie Reid, Grace Robinson and Isabelle Gibson; and two brothers, Edgar and Clarence Harris.
She was the last member of her generation and is survived by two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She also is survived by special neighbors, Bobby and Shirley Garrett.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Thornrose Cemetery, with Pastor Galen Combs officiating.
