Joan Powers Otranto, formerly of Wall Township, NJ, left this world peacefully on November 3, 2022. She was 89 years old. She was born in New York City, the only daughter of the late George and Margaret Radacinski. Joan was predeceased by her husband, Charles Otranto.
Joan worked as a medical social worker for the Visiting Nurse Association of Central New Jersey, Red Bank, for almost 20 years, where she was well known and admired. She was a strong and fiercely independent woman and will be missed by many.
Joan is survived by her daughter Michele; her two grandchildren, Emily and Michael and his wife Amanda; six great-grandchildren, Annabella, Elliott, Owen, Khloe, Kenneth, and Anthony. She is also survived by her previous husband, Michael.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Joan will be interred at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
