Robert Joe Lackey

Mr. Lackey was preceded in death by his parents; his wives, Janet Harder Lackey, Patricia Fleming Lackey, and Rosemarie Hurst Lackey; his brother, Douglas B. Lackey; and his sister, Mary Jeanne Lackey.

He is survived by his children, Joseph K. Lackey (Gerry), Lee F. Lackey (Lisa), Suzanne Lackey Passwaters (Dennis), Mack Campbell (Pamela), James Campbell (Leslie), and Janet Powell; his grandchildren, Chloe Lackey Miller (Matthew), Tristan Lee Lackey, Shelby Passwaters, Ian Passwaters, David Powell (Tiphany), Andrew Powell, Julianna Campbell Eisele (Nick), Benjamin Campbell, Michael Campbell (Tessa), Zachary Campbell (Monica), and Joshua Campbell (Travere); his great-grandchildren, Renessmae Vass, Fern Miller, Skylar Vogus, Daniel Campbell, and Ashkii Campbell; his brother, Ralph C. Lackey; and his nieces and nephew, Serena L. Koonts (Robert), Valerie L. Stone (Mitch), and Trent C. Lackey.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 11 a.m., at New Salem United Methodist Church. A ceremony at New Salem UMC Cemetery Niche will follow.
