Nancy Carolyn Bowles, 84, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023, in Statesville, NC. She was born on June 7, 1939, in Iredell County, NC, to Mack Barney Overcash and Gertrude Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Roy Lee Bowles.
Nancy is survived by her children, Bud Styles (Rhonda), of Washington, NC, Kim Styles Fearing and Kelly Styles, both of Statesville, NC; her grandchildren, Joshua Johnson (Joni), and Brittany Moore, both of Statesville, NC; her great grandchildren, Aidan and Dylan Johnson; and her brother, William Overcash (Jenny), of Rocky Mount, NC.
Services for Mrs. Bowles will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023, at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Larry Holleman officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
