Born December 24, 1933 in Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late Millard “Bud” Morrow and Rachel Compton Morrow.
In addition to her parents, Marjorie was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Roy Paul Keaton, who passed away in 2004.
She retired from International Paper Company after 30 years of service as a Lab Technician and was a member of Gloryland Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Blain (Donna) Keaton, Sandy (Mike) Hendrix, Mark (Cindy Ashley) Keaton and Dawn Thompson. She cherished her five grandchildren, Laura Keaton, Joseph (Leah) Keaton, Brett Hendrix, Samantha Thompson and Tiffanie Nichols and her five great-grandchildren, Brady, Davis and Tessa Keaton and Mason and Lejlan Hendrix.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with the funeral beginning at 2:00 PM in the Chapel with Pastor Blain Keaton officiating. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be Blain Keaton, Joseph Keaton, Brett Hendrix, Claude Duquette, Robert Goforth and Harrison Jenkins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Community Home Care and Hospice 1308 Davie Ave, Statesville, NC 28677.
