Margaret Allene White

She was born on August 19, 1937 in Iredell County to the late Columbus and Winnie White. Ms. White for most of her career was an independent insurance agent and later in her career was the Senior Employment Resource agent at the Iredell Senior Center.

Ms. White was predeceased by her son, Joey Privette and her granddaughter, Alisha Shoemaker.

She is survived by her sons, James Funderburk and his wife Brenda of Statesville and Thomas Hendren and his wife Lynda of N. Wilkesboro; her daughters, Debra Funderburk and her fiancé Benjamin Briggs of Lowell, NC and Rhonda Gaye Hendren of Statesville; her brother, Albert Noah White and his wife Becky of Hudson, NC; 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday from 2-3pm at the Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home, 705 Davie Ave., Statesville with a memorial service celebrating Ms. White’s life at 3pm in the Westmoreland Chapel of the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret’s memory to the Iredell Senior Center.
