Margaret Brown, 99, of Catawba, N.C., passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Hickory Falls Health and Rehab. Margaret was born January 28, 1923, to Frederik and Maria Wagner Auerswald in Frankfurt, Germany.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Fred W. Brown and 3 brothers.
Margaret is survived by her children: Margarete (Phillip) Nevills, Gary (Kathy); grandchildren: Donald (Carley) Nevills, Michelle (Michael) Shaw, Gary (Dawn) Brown Jr., Amy Brown, Lisa (Josh) Gonzales; 10 great grand-children, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Margaret loved to spend her time time worshipping at church, eating and spending time with her family, and traveling.
Funeral services for Margaret will be private.
