Joey Donell Davidson, age 62, of Statesville, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024. He was born November 19,1961, in Statesville, NC to the late Raymond Smith and Clara Cowan. He was preceded in death by a son; Lee Green Jr.; sister, Louise Smith; four brothers; James Smith, Calvin Smith, Bobby Davidson, and Nathaniel Davidson. Two brother-in-laws; Larry Williams and David Lee Smyre.
Mr. Davidson is survived by his wife of 27 years, Teresa Davidson; sons, Joey Donell Davidson Jr., Wesley Davidson(Carol);daughters, Latoya Daniels(Eric),Oona Burts; Brothers, Charles Davidson(Margaret), Donnie Davidson(Melissa),Raymond Smith; Sisters, Peggy Williams,Gale Millsaps, Patricia Greene, and sister-in-law Beverly Evans; grandchildren, Eric Daniels II, Braylen Daniels, Tyren Daniels, Kashmir Davidson, Kameron Davidson, Wesley Davidson Jr., Kyrie Davidson, Janyah Davidson, Jhorie Davidson, Najsai Burts, and Travis Bryant Jr.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Free Will Family Worship Center. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
