Jerry Ronald Jenkins

Jerry Ronald Jenkins was called to his heavenly home on February 9, 2016. He had been in declining health for two years. Born on December 9, 1959 in McDowell Co., West Virginia, he was a son of the late Edward Lee Jenkins and Beatrice Felts Jenkins, both from Capels, WV. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Leonard Lee Jenkins and (Johnny D.) J.D. Jenkins.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Robileen Jenkins and his daughter Robin Jenkins both of Statesville. Also to cherish his memory are his brother Earl Paul Jenkins (Jennifer) of Kennedy, MN, sisters; Shirley Smith (Duane) of Bridgeport, AL; Pamela Wyatt of Welch, WV and Barbara Blaylock (Larry) of Bridgeport, AL. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and several great nieces and great nephews whom he loved and cherished deeply.

He is further survived by his favorite dog he rescued through adoption named Shilo Jenkins.

Memorial services celebrating Jerry’s life are scheduled for Friday, February 12, 2016 at 4:00 pm in the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
