Jack Robertson Tilley

Born August 7, 1935 in Iredell County, he was the son to the late William and Ruth Tilley. Jack was an outdoorsman who loved working in his garden watching his tomato's grow and working with his tractor. Jack loved visiting and helping friends or anyone who needed help. He worked at Kewaunee Scientific Corporation for over twenty years along with International Paper Uniwood Division for over twenty years. He was friendly person who never meet a stranger. He was a loving and caring husband, father and "Papoo" to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 37 years, Mildred Tilley who passed in 1992 and he never forgot; and two brothers, Alfred Tilley and Delbert Tilley.

Left to cherish his memory are his three children, Rhonda Tilley Baker, Robbie D. Tilley and wife Lisa, and Todd Tilley; grandchildren, Teela Baker and Toyna (Keith) Mansch; great-grandchildren, Audrey Money and Jackson Mansch; sister, Nancy (Raeford) Millsaps; brothers, Bobby (Shirley) Tilley and Jimmy Tilley and many extended loving family members.

Jack's funeral service will be held Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 2 pm in the Westmoreland Chapel at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
