Helen Levon Campbell Hartness

Helen Levon Campbell Hartness, 61, of Statesville, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025 at Gordon Hospice House. She was born in Iredell County on May 27, 1963 to James Lester Campbell and Mary Lillie Wyatt Campbell.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Novella Powell and Matilda Campbell.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Rabon Delmore Hartness, Jr.; son, Michael Dale Hartness (Tammy); daughter, Marie Prichard (Donnie); brothers, Frankie James Campbell, Samuel Wayne Campbell and Danny Campbell; sister, Ruby Ervin; grandchildren, Amber, Casey, Curtis, Lucas, Thomas, April, Jeffrey, Grace, Tony and Serenity; great granddaughter, Everleigh; brother-in-law, Carlton Hartness; and sisters-in-law, Arlene Royal and Darlene Church (Jody).

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. A memorial service officiated by Pastor John Dixon will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
