Doris Peacock Bowles, 85, of Statesville, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025 with cancer. She was born on December 28, 1939, the daughter of Maggie and Lonnie Peacock and graduated from Cool Springs School in 1958.
She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Bowles; daughter, Cynthia; son, Bradley; special “other son” Steve Suiter; and special friends, Nancy Everidge and Chuck Wilkerson.
A celebration of life for Doris will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 3:30 pm at Chapel Hill Methodist Church in Statesville. Visitation with the family will follow the service. A private burial will be held at a later date.
