Danny Ray Woolsey, 77, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He was born on July 18, 1946, in Ray County, Missouri, to the late Floyd Raymond Woolsey and Ruby McRorey Woolsey.
Danny was a member of Holmeswood Baptist Church, Kansas City, MO, and was also a member of the North Kansas City Optimist Club.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Woolsey; son, Taggart Wayne Woolsey, Springfield, MO; daughters Dannele Marie Vasquez, Omaha, NE, Talia Elizabeth Pritchard, Rogersville, MO, Tonia Lynne Barnes, Springfield, MO; and Sarah Kay Woolsey, Winston-Salem, NC; 10 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brother, Bill Woolsey, Kansas City, MO; stepson, Jerry Wayne Saddler, Jr, Glade Valley, NC; stepdaughter, Christine Lynn Sidden, Glade Valley, NC; and 4 step grandchildren.
A memorial service for Danny will be held on Saturday, January, 27, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home in Statesville, NC.
