At that time they became members of the Western Ave. Baptist Church where Colene was a member of the Lydia Sunday School Class.
For John, Colene was the perfect wife. For Cindy and Linda, Colene was the perfect mother. Having been raised in a large family, Colene was a very kind, patient, and understanding person. She will also be remembered by her beautiful handicraft work - the afghans she crocheted, the quilting work, and the many Christmas ornaments she enjoyed making.

with Dr. Skip Cartin officiating. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
