Charles Savage, III, 74, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, in Statesville, North Carolina. He was born on August 23, 1949, in Calhoun County, Iowa, to the late Charles Franklin Savage, II, and Leora Tielbur Savage.
He is survived by his wife, Cindra Savage; his children, Cole Savage, of Statesville, NC, Carrie Smith, of Stony Point, NC, and Chanda Slawson, of Waukee, IA; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and sister, Shirley Murley, of Sac City, IA.
Charles was a veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed, and was very talented at, caning chairs and refinishing furniture.
