Virginia D. Toole

Mrs. Virginia D. Toole, age 86, passed away Sunday at her daughter’s residence under the care of Hospice Savannah, Inc. She was a native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County. She and her husband were the owners of Statesboro Beauty School where she was also an instructor. Mrs. Toole was a member of the Statesboro First United Methodist Church where she was a member of Sadie Maude Moore Circle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus A. Toole and her sons, William “Bill” Toole and Loron D. Toole.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol Elliott of Guyton; her son, Marcus A. Toole, Jr. of Statesboro; two grandchildren, Candice and Jason Elliott; her sister, Lorena Bowman; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Cason officiating.

Interment will be in Eastside Cemetery.
