Thomas Wayne Canady

Mr. Canady was born in Savannah to the late Tom Watson and Mildred Drew Canady and lived most of his life in Statesboro and Brooklet, before moving to Vidalia 3 years ago. Wayne was a member of New Beginnings Church in Lyons and had worked in the construction industry.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Gloria Canady of Vidalia; son, Tim Canady, Brooklet; daughter, Angela Driggers and her husband, Joel of Brooklet; 2 grandchildren, T.J. Driggers and Hunter Driggers both of Brooklet; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday, March 28, in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

Memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Friday March 28, in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with the Reverend Michael A. Smith officiating.
