Richard "Ricky" NeSmith

Ricky was a native of Savannah and was raised in Bulloch County attending local schools. He was a member of Lawrence Baptist Church and was retired from the City of Savannah Water Department, where he served as Crew Chief and had also worked with Yates-Astro for 16 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Nesmith and his nephew, Jason Hendrix.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Flordeliza Nesmith of Pembroke; mother, Hazel S. Nesmith of Pembroke; sister, Marilyn Jones of Statesboro; mother-in-law, Leonila Atamosa of Pembroke; friends, Beverly and Charles Johnson of Pembroke and many other relative and friends in Savannah.

The family will receive friends, 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday, May 15, 2015 in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, May 15, 2015 in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Albert Hodges officiating.

Burial will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
