Jeanette Bragg Thompson

Mrs. Jeanette Bragg Thompson, age 75, died early Friday at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility. She was born in Metter and lived many years in Sylvania and Springfield before moving to Statesboro in 1977. Mrs. Thompson enjoyed dancing, watching movies, and fishing.

Survivors include her husband of fifty two years, Lavaughn Thompson of Statesboro; her children, Lori (Robert) Lee of Statesboro, Michael Wayne (Joanne) Mull of Portal, Gene (Connie) Thompson of Statesboro, and Timothy Wayne (Linda) Waters of Twin City; nine grandchildren, Amanda Myers, Jeanette Mull, Diana Noble, Selena Thompson, Bryce Thompson, James Lee, Sabrina Lee Bradley, Trevor Waters, Trey Waters; and nine great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 4:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Elder Howard Rushing officiating.

Hodges-Moore Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of the arrangements.
