Hal Cartee

Timothy Hal Cartee, age 48, of Statesboro, Georgia passed suddenly Monday, June 15, 2015 after a fatal accident. He was a loving father and grandfather. Hal was employed by Georgia Southern University for 22 years in The Print Shop. Hal was preceded in death by his father, Gene Cartee and his son, Blake Cartee.

Hal is survived by his daughter, Whitney Cartee Perrin and her husband, Brett of Statesboro; grandson, Carter Perrin of Statesboro; mother, Marie Cartee Williams of Statesboro; sister, Dale Cartee Parker and her husband, Joe and their daughter, Madison of Stilson; brother, Brian Cartee and his wife, Amanda and their children Jarrett and Malory of Statesboro.

Hal was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed dirt track racing. He was a member of the Bulloch County Hunters Association and the Georgia Fox Hunters Association.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Elder Buck Grantham officiating. Burial will follow in Middleground Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Campbell, Justin McCorkle, Jarrett Cartee, David Mincey, Claude Robertson and Tommy Buchan.
